I have successfully installed comicglass server (index.php) in linux machine (LaCie Cloudbox) and works perfectly excepted that the cbr files are not recognised and cannot be streamed to Ipad. With windows comicglass server they work perfectly and can be streamed. Is it a bug in comicglass to read cbr from http server?

Streaming function doesn't support HTTP protocol.
Please use SMB protocol using Samba.

Sorry for not explaining enough.

Streaming mode on HTTP support zip or image-files only.
I limits a protocol,because the RAR file must load the top of the file sequentially repeatedly.

I have checked and looks like http supports zip and rar:
.rar application/x-rar-compressed, application/octet-stream
.zip application/zip, application/octet-stream

is it possible to implement this in comicglass?

The present specification is restricted by the format of RAR.

A ZIP file has the index the location of the included files.
However, when I don't receive the 1st file location in case of RAR, it isn't possible to know the location of the 2nd file.
Therefore latency of communication influences the performance of Streaming.
(latency is short in SMB, but HTTP is long.)

I'm planning to improve as even HTTP will be streaming possible in the future.
