Pre 9.0, it would sort by Status (Unread, Reading, Read) then within that same status sort in alphabetical order.

After version 9.0, the comics that share the same status are no longer listed in alphabetical order (I guess the sort is by some date value). As a result what I see as the next comic to read isn't necessarily the next comic that will come up.
