I have a cbr structured as follows:

It takes 15-20 seconds to enter and exit the double pages on an iPad 1 with iOS 5.01. I don't remember double pages taking so long to load before. Display double is off, create a split page is off, default zoom mode is fit to width. Can this be looked at, please?

Index generation of a RAR file is the processing which requires time.
Depending on the contents, it takes very long time.
Although I tackle an improvement, please use zip form, if possible.

I changed the cbr to a cbz and there was little improvement. To be clear, I'm not talking about the time it takes to load the comic. I'm talking about the time it takes to swipe from page to page. If I have a cbr/cbz with no double pages, the delay to go to the next page is almost non-existent. If I have a cbr/cbz with double pages, every page advance takes a lot longer, even if the next page is a single page.

If the size of a picture is large, reduction processing will take time.
I think that the file for which I require time has a large area of a picture.

The picture is 2560 by 1955. Is there an option I can set not to resize double width pages?
