How do I set a page to be cover, so that spreads and double page layouts match up?

Long:
Some comics/manga have no "real" cover page, some have double page covers and others have single page covers.
Is there a simple way to adjust for that kind of thing, so layouts inside the comic can appear the way they are supposed to?
